These terms apply when you use this website or buy from it. By placing an order you agree to them, together with our Shipping, Returns & refunds and Privacy policies.

Our products

We make and pack ground spices and masalas under the Mahadev and Jayanand M.D. brands in our own factory in Nandurbar, Maharashtra. Country of origin: India.

Photos show the product and its pack; the colour of a spice can vary a little from crop to crop. The label on the pack you receive is the final word on ingredients, allergens, net weight, MRP and best before date. Please read it before use, especially if you have a food allergy.

Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Indian rupees and are the MRP printed on the pack, inclusive of GST.
  • Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payments are taken on Shopify's secure checkout by our payment partners. Cash on delivery is available where shown at checkout. To confirm: cash on delivery, and its fee if any.
  • If a price or product detail on the website is wrong because of an error, we tell you before dispatch. You can then accept the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Orders

After you order, you receive an order confirmation by email. We may cancel an order, with a full refund, if a product is out of stock, if we can't deliver to your address, or if the order looks fraudulent. We tell you if we do.

Delivery

We dispatch and deliver as set out in our Shipping & delivery policy. Delivery times are estimates.

Cancellations, replacements and refunds

You can cancel free of cost until your order is dispatched. Damaged, wrong or expired packs are replaced, and refunds are paid, as set out in our Returns & refunds policy. We do not charge any cancellation fee.

Using our products

Store packs in a cool, dry place, close them after use, and use them before the best before date printed on the pack.

Our names and content

The Mahadev and Jayanand M.D. names and logos are our registered trade marks. The photos, text and design of this website belong to us. Please don't copy them without our written permission.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for selling you products that match their description and are safe when used as directed. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Complaints

Please contact customer care first. If you are not satisfied, write to our grievance officer. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts at Nandurbar, Maharashtra, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the day you order applies to that order.
