Bulk Masala for Mumbai Restaurants, Caterers and Cloud Kitchens
For restaurants, caterers and cloud kitchens in Mumbai: how to buy MD Masala in bulk, straight from our family factory, and what busy kitchens order most.
A kitchen that sends out hundreds of plates a day needs its chicken curry to taste the same on Monday and on Saturday. That starts with the masala. MD Masala is a family masala business from Nandurbar: we have been grinding masala since 1997, today in our own factory at Patonda, and our packs are already sold in more than 2,000 shops across Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Now we want to supply Mumbai's kitchens directly.
What a busy kitchen needs from its masala
- The same taste every batch. One family, one factory and one way of making it since 1997.
- Spices from where they grow best. Our chilli comes from Guntur and Byadgi, our haldi from Sangli and our dhania from Indore.
- Enough stock when you need it. Our factory makes about 7 tonnes of masala a day.
- A proper bill. Every order is billed by Mahadev Foods & Spices Pvt. Ltd., a GST-registered company.
What kitchens order most
Across all our customers, M.D. Chicken Masala is our biggest seller, followed by our garam masala and chilli powder. For a restaurant menu, these are the masalas to look at first:
- Curries and biryani: M.D. Chicken Masala, M.D. Mutton Masala, Mahadev Rajwadi Garam Masala and M.D. Premium Khada Masala.
- Colour and heat: M.D. Chilli Powder for heat, Mahadev Kashmiri Chilli Powder for a bright red gravy.
- Everyday base: M.D. Haldi Powder and M.D. Coriander Powder.
- Maharashtrian dishes: M.D. Kolhapuri Masala for misal and tambda rassa, M.D. Kanda Lasun Masala, and Mahadev Kala Masala for amti and usal.
- Chaat counters: M.D. Chatpat Masala.
How to order in bulk
- Send us a message on WhatsApp 83293 52697: your business name, your area in Mumbai, the masalas you use and roughly how much you use in a month.
- We reply with the bulk pack sizes, trade prices and how delivery to your area works.
- You confirm the order and we send it from our factory at Patonda, with a GST invoice.
Prefer to talk? Call us on 96892 33880, Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm. We speak Marathi, Hindi and English.
Why buy from the family that makes it
When you buy straight from us, you talk to the people who make the masala. Ask where the chilli came from this season, ask for the same blend you had last month, ask for a bigger order before a wedding season: one WhatsApp message reaches the family. You can also taste any masala first: every pack is on our online shop at its printed MRP.
